A man has been charged on suspicion of thefts from several town centre shops, police have said.
Gary Wickens, aged 42, of Leach Road, Bicester, was charged on Friday (July 12) with three counts of theft from a shop, two counts of attempted theft from a shop and one count of common assault.
The charges are in connection with incidents which occurred at shops in Bicester between May and June, Thames Valley Police confirmed on Monday morning.

Wickens has been released on bail.
He is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, August 13.
Thames Valley Police guidance on reporting suspected crimes states a report will be sent directly to the force's control room to consider.
