A man has been charged in connection with an assault on a police officer and numerous other offences in Banbury, Thames Valley Police said.
Thames Valley Police has charged Thomas Butler, aged 31, of Orchard Way, Banbury, with one count each of threatening to damage or destroy property, harassment - put in fear of violence, racially aggravated intentional harassment, receiving stolen goods and common assault of an emergency worker on July 3.

The charges relate to a suspected criminal damage incident on Hilton Road on June 28, harassment in Oxfordshire throughout April, a racially aggravated public order incident on Orchard Way on April 7, a burglary in Ruscote Avenue on February 17, and an assault on a police officer on Mascord Road on July 2.
Butler is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today (June 15) after being remanded in custody.
