Jeremy Clarkson has blasted Wimbledon fans for not showing up after making a special appearance at the tournament.

The 64-year-old visited the world-famous tennis showpiece on Friday, July 12 to watch Novak Djokovic play Lorenzo Musetti in the men’s singles semi-finals.

After a close-fought game, the Serbian prevailed to set up a final with Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday at 2pm.

Mr Clarkson was in the crowd for the match and provided several updates on his Instagram including ridiculing fans for not turning up to the semi-final clash.

Posting a picture of Novak Djokovic playing with empty seats behind, the former Top Gear host said: “F**k’s sake. Mens’ semis and you can’t be bothered to turn up.”

Mr Clarkson has already posted a photo of his view of the game with a caption that said: “A fine day off.”

The star has recently been busy filming the fourth season of the hit Prime Video show, Clarkson’s Farm.

Covering life on Mr Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, the documentary has proved globally popular amongst fans.

Thousands of tourists have been visiting the location near Chipping Norton throughout this summer after the show’s third season was released in May.

Queues of fans have become a regular fixture at the Diddly Squat Farm Shop as people aim to catch a glimpse of Mr Clarkson and the other stars of the show.
