Primary school pupils in Bicester recently enjoyed a two day residency from the Oxford Opera company.

Based on Mozart’s “The Magic Flute”, Bure Park Primary School pupils participated in a range of drama and music activities to engage in vibrant storytelling and debunk young people’s perceptions of the genre as part of their Arts Festival Fortnight.

The school say that this experience was thanks to a grant from Bicester Town Council, which the Buddies (PTA) applied for.

One student said: “It was such a wonderful experience.
