A man has been named and charged in connection with an attempted murder following a stabbing in Oxford.
Bilal Khan of Abingdon Road was arrested on Thursday, July 11, and charged last night with conspiracy to commit murder.
This charge relates to an incident on the evening of Wednesday, March 13, in Manzil Way in which a man aged in his 40s was stabbed.
The assault occurred in the Cosin Close alleyway off Manzil Way and the victim was rushed to hospital after running into a nearby mosque to seek help.

He suffered serious injuries, but he has since been discharged.
Khan is the third man to have been charged with the incident and the 24-year-old is due to appear before Oxford Magistrates’ Court today (Friday, July 12).
Hassan Hussain of Nye Bevan Close was previously charged in connection with this incident on Saturday, March 16, and was remanded in custody.
He appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Friday, April 11, charged with one count each of attempted murder, possession of an imitation firearm, namely a handgun, and possession of a bladed article, namely a ‘Rambo’ knife.

Wearing a grey tracksuit and large silver glasses, Hussain pleaded not guilty to all three counts.
The 25-year-old is due to stand trial on Monday, August 19.
Shahroz Khan of Mortimer Road was charged last week with conspiracy to commit murder and money laundering and has been remanded in custody.
The 24-year-old is awaiting trial on a date to be confirmed.
