A 45-year-old man who went missing from Oxford has been found, police have said.

Kieron, whose surname has not been disclosed, was last seen in the New Hinksey area of Oxford at around 7pm yesterday (Wednesday, July 10).

Thames Valley Police launched a public appeal this morning (Thursday, July 11) following his disappearance.

The force confirmed he had been located at around 5.30pm the same day.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “A man from Oxford has been found after being reported missing yesterday (June 10).

“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal to find 45-year-old Kieron, and thank you to the public who helped locate him.”

Police guidance on missing people states it is not wasting officers' time to report someone as missing, and someone will not be in trouble for going missing.
