Emma Raducanu has missed out on £375,000 after ruling out studying at the University of Oxford.
The tennis star was knocked out of Wimbledon in the fourth round following a 6-2, 5-7, 6-2 loss to New Zealand qualifier Lulu Sun.
Ms Raducanu had earned £226,000 for reaching the game on Sunday but her early exit from the tournament has seen her miss out on even more money.

Should the 21-year-old have won against Sun, she would have netted a whopping £375,000 according to The Sun.
Speaking to Online Betting Guide (OLBG), financial expert Rob Wilson explained the tax implications of Ms Raducanu's run.
He said: "Emma Raducanu, like most athletes who earn any kind of real money, will be set up as a company for the purposes of taxation and earning profits etc.

"She will have a significant tax bill based upon her Wimbledon earnings which are as of yet to be confirmed.
"Realistically, 20 per cent corporation tax on top of those earnings."
Ahead of the Championships, Ms Raducanu was pictured in the main quad of Corpus Christi College during a visit to Oxford University.

“I’m very much focused on my professional tennis career,” she said in the post-match press conference.
“Once that’s over maybe or once I have more disposition or more time, that’s for sure something I would love to explore.
“For now I’m very much focused on the tennis.”
