Burglars poured bleach on the floor after breaking into an Oxfordshire property.
The incident occurred between 1pm and 6pm on Saturday, July 6, at a house on Larkhill Road in Abingdon towards the Faringdon Road end.
Thames Valley Police are investigating the incident and released an online appeal on Tuesday morning encouraging any member of the public with more information to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Priority Crime Team, Abingdon are appealing for any witnesses after an incident of burglary in Abingdon.

“Offenders gained entry from a front window on the driveway, and once inside have searched the property, poured bleach on the floor, and switched lights on.
