A holiday club has been launched for youngsters in north Oxfordshire.
Cherwell District Council's Activate holiday club will run at venues in Banbury, Bicester and Kidlington, starting Monday, August 5.
The club is designed to provide a wide range of activities for children giving them a summer of fun.
Councillor Rob Pattenden, portfolio holder for healthy communities, said: "Our Activate holiday clubs are incredibly popular with young people in north Oxfordshire.
"We’ve designed a programme that enables them to enjoy the benefits of physical activity in a welcoming and safe environment."
Activities include rounders, parachute games, obstacle relays, and swimming where available.
He added: "Activate helps children form friendships, build their confidence and enjoy being part of a healthy team dynamic.
"We’re encouraging parents and guardians to book early and avoid missing out."
The club is for children aged five to 11.
Sessions run from 8.45am to 3pm and cost £22.50 per day.
All staff at the club are first aid trained and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked.
Clubs will take place at North Oxfordshire Academy in Banbury, Bicester Leisure Centre and Kidlington and Gosford Leisure Centre.
Additionally, Cherwell District Council offers free Activate and Eat holiday sessions for eligible children receiving free school meals.
