A PLEA and trial preparation hearing has been scheduled for a Henley man accused of sexually assaulting a woman.
Matthew Eggleton, of Luker Avenue, Henley, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (July 4) charged with two counts.
He has been charged with assaulting a female 13 and over by penetration as well as one count of assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm.

The 35-year-old is accused of committing these offences on March 14, March 16 and March 28, 2021 against the same woman.
She cannot be named for legal reasons.
Eggleton’s case has now been adjourned and sent to Oxford Crown Court. His plea and trial preparation hearing has been scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 1.
