Traffic lights have stopped working near where the A34 has been closed this weekend.

The A34 has been closed throughout the weekend southbound between Milton and Chieveley for resurfacing works.

But motorists are now being warned this afternoon (Sunday, July 7) about additional disruption due to the faulty signals at the Milton Interchange junction.

Engineers and traffic management workers have been called to attend to the faulty lights at the junction of the A34 and A4130.

It is not the first time these lights have stopped working at the junction in recent months.

Motorists are being urged to approach the scene with caution.

A signed diversion for all traffic is in place via the A40, M40 and A404 as result of the A34 closure for the resurfacing work.
