It is the first time Oxfordshire has not had a Tory MP since 1777 after the General Election transformed the political map in the county.

The Liberal Democrats took the county by storm taking five seats while Labour won the remaining two.

Layla Moran retained her seat in Oxford West and Abingdon, while Freddie van Mierlo won Henley and Thame, Charlie Maynard secured Witney, Calum Miller won Bicester and Woodstock, and Olly Glover was elected in Didcot and Wantage.
