The Grange in Goring-on-Thames hosted a garden party for participants in the Great British Care Cycle Relay during Care Home Open Week.

The event saw the community engage with residents and staff to support the cyclists and shed light on the essential role of social care services.

Dianne Downard, manager at The Grange, said: "We're thrilled to have been a part of this incredible initiative."

"It’s not just about cheering on the cyclists; it's about celebrating the vital role that care homes play in our communities and the dedication of our care workers."

In a festive atmosphere, attendees and neighbours were treated to entertainment, refreshments, and personalised ice cream vouchers for a visiting ice cream van.
