A "remarkable" Chinnor resident has celebrated her 100th birthday with her family and friends.
Pearl, who lives at Hempton Field Care Home, received a telegram from the King in recognition of her centenary.
She was also treated to a champagne reception and a birthday cake made by the home's chef, alongside handmade gifts and paper flower bouquet from schoolchildren.
She also received cards and gifts from her family and friends.
Joy, general manager at Hempton Field, said: "We're delighted to be celebrating a truly remarkable woman as she reaches this amazing milestone.
"Pearl is such a popular resident who always has an interesting tale to tell, and we look forward to hearing many more as she breaks into her next century."
