Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been inspired by our latest theme - carnivores.

They were prompted to post plenty of photos of big cats and birds of prey.

Lots of pictures were taken at Cotswold Wildlife Park, and at Millets Farm near Abingdon.

The farm with a food shop often features displays showing off birds of prey.

Each week camera club members are given a different theme and then post their photos on the group’s Facebook page.

Then a selection of pictures are featured in the Oxford Mail and in The Oxford Times, and one photo is chosen as photo of the week.

It was difficult to choose a winner this week because there were so many stunning photos but Ashley Goble’s close-up of a penguin at Cotswold Wildlife Park really stood out.

For more information about camera club visit the club’s Facebook page. The next theme is ‘close-ups’.
