The 45-year-old officer is accused of ‘emotionally manipulating’ his former partner and isolating her from friends and family.
He is also accused of monitoring her time both electronically and in person, repeatedly put her down and encouraging her to believe that she was at fault or suffering from mental health problems and threatening to allow her dog to suffer.
Collins is now due at Aylesbury Crown Court on September 5 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
