Awards were given to four members of the Women’s Royal Voluntary Service who between them had given 60 years’ service to the meals-on-wheels service at Wallingford.
Gloria Simms, centre, WRVS organiser in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, made the presentations marking the 15 years they had supported the organisation.
The recipients were, left to right, Pat Ashton, Betty Jaffray, Elsie Reed and Rosa Taylor. Mrs Ashton delivered meals by car and her three colleagues helped with cooking.
