The 37-year-old was charged under the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988 for not wearing a seat belt.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was due to stand trial at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on June 27.
However, at the request of the defence due to an issue with Duffy being unable to read the summons, the trial has now been adjourned to take place at the same court on August 23.
