The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:

JUSTIN WHITE, 44, of Buttercup Square, Oxford, pleaded guilty to threat counts of theft from a shop and one count of burglary with intent to steal. On June 6, he trespassed into the Ozone Leisure Park in Grenoble Road with intent to steal. On May 21, he stole a Sharpe stereo to the value of £99 from an Asda store, on May 27 he stole a £99 Sharpe Stereo from Asda, and on June 7 he stole a joint of beef to the value of £14.19 from a Spar store. He was given a four-month prison sentence, suspended for 19 months. He was also ordered to complete 12 months of treatment with Turning Point and 18 days of rehabilitation activity. There were no orders for costs.

SAM DONALDSON, 39, of Leach Road, Bicester, pleaded guilty to two counts of drug driving in Leach Road, Bicester, on January 13 this year. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £400. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £160.

NICOLA HARRIS, 47, of Bartlett Place, Milton, pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon in a private place, namely a ‘police style’ baton, on November 6 last year. She was given a community order to complete five days of rehabilitation activity and a forfeiture and destruction order was made for the baton. There were court costs of £85.

CHRISTOPHER JOHNSON, 60, of North Drive, Harwell, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Drayton on February 2 this year with 128 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was given a community order to complete six months of mental health treatment and was disqualified from driving for 36 months. He was also fined £133. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.

MARK STUART, 54, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to threatening to share a photograph or film or a person in an intimate state in Wantage on May 9 this year. He was given a community order to complete nine months of alcohol rehabilitation treatment and 20 days of rehabilitation activity. He was also fined £100 and made subject to a restraining order. There were no other orders for costs.

GERAINT JONES, 46, of Cardigan Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft from a shop. On May 23 this year he stole fresh food and ready meals to an unknown value belonging to BP. On May 31 he stole fresh food, cider and ready meals to the value of £49.75 from BP. He was ordered to pay £25 in compensation. There were court costs of £85.
