Oxford Mail Camera Club members were asked to take photos inspired by song titles.

That was our latest weekly theme and it prompted a wide variety of photos from across Oxfordshire and beyond.

Ann Faulkner took a photo of a girl outside the underground at Paddington Station, inspired by the Jam number one hit Going Underground from 1980.

But it was Stephen Pimm’s striking picture of a havesting machine which stood out and it’s our photo of the week.

Mr Pimm was inspired by the Isley Brothers’ song Harvest for the World.

Each week camera club members are given a theme and then post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.

A selection of photos are then featured in the Oxford Mail and in the Oxford Times and one photo is then chosen as the photo of the week.

For more information about camera club visit the club’s Facebook page. The next theme is ‘carnivores’.
