A BANGER racer has denied raping a girl in a Didcot park, telling a jury what happened was consensual.
Peter Jones, 21, is standing trial charged with one count of rape which allegedly took place on December 3, 2021.
It is alleged that Jones had raped the girl in a field after the pair had exchanged naked photographs on Snapchat.

However, Jones, of Furlong Close, Oxford, has denied the offence – stating what had happened between the pair was consensual.
Giving evidence on Thursday (June 27), the racing driver, who competes at Standlake Circuit in Witney, said the pair began messaging on Snapchat and Instagram.
He said the conversation had turned sexual and he did send naked photographs and asked her for pictures in return.
“[I did] once or twice, If I remember correctly. I don’t know [why],” he said. “She said maybe one or twice she would like to meet up.

“There were two occasions I remember where she asked if I wanted to come round but she said something like her dad had cameras so I wouldn’t be able to.”
He said the pair eventually agreed to meet up outside the Diamond Convenience Store in Didcot before walking together to a nearby park.
“We gave each other a cuddle by putting one arm around each other,” he said.
“We gave each other a peck on the lips.
“She was relaxed, she was smiling. We placed our hands on each other on the top of our legs. She brushed her hand across my groin area.
“I don’t know if she maybe wanted to have a hold of my penis.”
He said that she allegedly touched him sexually before the pair had a discussion about oral sex.
“She said she had never done it before and she was unsure. I said obviously if you want to it’s up to you, if you’re willing to, and she said, ‘I will’.”
Jones said that the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, then gave him oral sex on the bench in the park.
Her account is that he had forced her to do it. Speaking during cross-examination, she said: “No, he never asked me [to have oral sex]. He told me to. He never asked me.”

When asked by his defence barrister if he understands what consent is, Jones replied: “Yes. [I believe she was consenting] because she stated beforehand that she wanted to.
“She was relaxed, smiling. She seemed fine.”
The trial, which is expected to conclude this week, continues.
