A woman has been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington with serious head injuries after a crash involving a taxi.
While using a walking frame, the woman in her 70s was on Thatcham High Street when a black Ford Tourneo taxi collided with her at around 9.33am yesterday (June 25), police have said.
She suffered a serious head injury and a bleed on the brain requiring treatment at John Radcliffe Hospital where she remains.

Investigating officer Police Constable Jamie Payne, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for the public’s help in our investigation after a woman sustained a very serious head injury.
“We would ask anyone who witnessed this collision or may have dash-cam footage to please come forward.
