TV presenter Gaby Roslin and weather presenter Carol Kirkwood chatted with guests at a special event for guests at a luxury Cotswolds hotel.

The audience had the chance to discover more about Carol’s journey in weather forecasting, as well as her time on Strictly Come Dancing – and her growing vocation as an author.

Gaby also revealed all the insider information behind her most recent feel-good novel, Secrets Of The Villa Amore, giving readers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into her writing process.

Guests then put their creative skills to the test by taking part in a crafting workshop with award-winning craft expert and colour therapist, Momtaz Begum-Hossain.

The event at Heythrop Park Hotel, near Chipping Norton, was organised in partnership with Prima and Good Housekeeping magazine.

The 337-bedroom adults-only hotel opened in September 2023 as part of Warner Leisure Hotels following an extensive £40million refurbishment.

It had previously been a Jesuit college and a NatWest training centre before being transformed into a hotel by ex-Oxford United owner Firoz Kassam around 2000.

Ms Roslin said: “What a magical day I had with Prima Mag and Warner Hotels. It was wonderful spending time with the readers and getting to chat and learn what the magazine means to them.

"And I learnt a new craft! What’s not to love. I do hope we can do it again and again.”
