Fire crews have battled a "rapidly developing" roof fire in Bicester overnight with units remaining at the scene this morning.
Initial crews from Bicester were called to the blaze just before 9pm last night where they were met by a rapidly developing fire.
The roof fire in the Longfields area of the town posed a danger of spreading to a neighbouring property, with crews taking immediate action to stop it from spreading.

At its height, six fire crews - two each from Bicester, Kidlington and Rewley Road in Oxford -were supported by the command unit from Slade Park and the incident support unit from Eynsham to deal with the initial incident.
A crew from Woodstock Fire Station also attended throughout the night to monitor for hotspots, and crews remain on scene investigating the cause this morning.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
No one was hurt in either property, and residents were able to evacuate safely when the fire was spotted.
Photos of the wreckage show extensive damage to the roof where the fire is believed to have started.
The chimney was singed while a large part of the roof appears to have caved in with surrounding tiles loosened and smoke still visible.
