Police have warned of disruption on roads near Blenheim Palace during next month's European Political Community summit.

The Prime Minister following the General Election vote on July 4 will host the summit on July 18, bringing together around 50 leaders from across Europe.

Thames Valley Police have warned of delays on the road network near Blenheim Palace while the summit takes place.

A Thames Valley Police statement said: "If you live near to the palace or in surrounding villages, there might be disruption to road networks and access during this time."

The force added it encourages residents to attend one of two meetings to find out more information regarding the event and its impact on the surrounding area.

The first meeting is at Blenheim Palace in the Marlborough Room on June 27 at 7pm and the second at the Combe Reading Room (OX29 8NT) on July 2 at 7pm
