A public meeting to discuss plans for the refurbishment of Wantage Community Hospital will take place next month having initially been postponed.

The meeting will now take place on July 11 from 6pm to 7.30pm in the Lockinge room at the Beacon in Wantage, having previously been scheduled for June 18.

The initial meeting was pushed back due "to reasons outside of our control during this pre-election period", Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust said.

The meeting will set out the proposed refurbishment design and the types of services that will be operating from the ground floor space of the hospital.

It is planned that, following the meeting, an application will be submitted to the Vale of White Horse District Council for community investment levy funding.
