A JURY has cleared a man who had been charged with stalking.
John Kibe, 47, was on trial at Oxford Crown Court charged with one count of stalking, causing serious alarm and distress between October 21 and November 9 last year.
A jury heard that Kibe was accused of knocking on a woman’s door in Drayton on several occasions late at night.

He had allegedly called her by her nickname, which only her friends knew, despite not knowing the complainant.
Kibe, of no fixed abode, denied the offence and stated he had been knocking on the door as he believed there was a room in the property for rent.
After a three-day trial, Kibe was found not guilty by a jury.
