A TINDER user accused of blackmailing her date for £500 has been cleared by a jury.
Raluca Vasiu, of Charles Street, Oxford, was on trial at Oxford Crown Court charged with one count of blackmail against a man who cannot be named for legal reasons.
The 26-year-old was accused of blackmailing the man, stating she would make a ‘fake rape allegation’ after the condom ‘came off’ while the pair were having consensual sex.

However, a jury found the Oxford student not guilty after a three-day trial.
During her defence case, Miss Vasiu explained that the believed the man had removed the condom on purpose and had raped her.
She said he had offered her the money for emergency contraception and further ‘tests’.
