The Oxford Mail has opened a book of condolence for a man who died after being found in Oxford city centre.

At around 5.10am on Tuesday, police officers found a man unresponsive on Cornmarket Street in the city centre.

South Central Ambulance Service, who were already at the scene, then transported the man to John Radcliffe Hospital.

The man was declared dead at the hospital while officers cordoned off the city street as forensics teams worked at the scene.

Leave your tributes hereDearest Andrew - as I have told you often, you have always been close to my heart and I have loved you ever since you joined our family when you were 8 years old. I loved spending time with you when I lived with your family in London for a short while, and it always brings a smile to my face when I recall the many times you told me how I taught you to make a bed and how to place the pillows so the openings were away from the door. You were always so kind and gentle, when I think of you through the years it's pretty much always with a huge beam on your face, a sparkle in you eye and a chuckle in your voice. Despite your own struggles, your kindness to others was evident when I sat and chatted with you in Oxford. It was always a joy to bump into you. Although we didn't see each other that often you have left a big hole in my heart. Love you always - you will never be forgotten. Be at peace my lovely cousin.
