A club spokesperson said: "I can’t highlight enough how much this tournament brings our community together, with many families being involved ever year in the 400+ strong army of volunteers it takes to run this event.

"It’s magic that so many people’s heart and soul goes into running what is one of the biggest football tournaments in England.

"We’re a volunteer-led grassroots community football club, so all the funds go straight back to facilitating football, and player development throughout the club.
