Superstar Taylor Swift is rumoured to already be staying at a £3,000-a-night rental property in Great Tew, near Chipping Norton, between dates on her sell-out Eras tour.
Taylor, and boyfriend Kansas City Chiefs footballer Travis Kelce, are thought to have rented the home for the entire duration of her tour, which continues in Cardiff tonight and will end with eight nights at Wembley.
Where is Great Tew?
Great Tew village, seven miles from Chipping Norton, has largely belonged since the 1980s to the Johnston family, as the Great Tew Estate.
Newspaper magnate Rupert Murdoch and his then wife Jerry Hall were reported to have bought derelict Great Tew manor to do up at a cost of £30million in 2020.
In recent years the estate has hosted events through the year, including the Cornbury Music Festival and lifestyle festival Park Fair.
Celebrity neighbours
Just outside the village is private members club Soho Farmhouse, a private members-only club that charges £2,950 a year in membership fees and hosted Meghan Markle's hen do.
It has been frequented by everyone from Liam Gallagher to Kourtney Kardashian.
Oxfordshire's most famous residents David and Victoria Beckham live a stone's throw away.
Other celebs living near by include Fifty Shades of Grey actor Jamie Dornan and his wife Amelia, pop star Ellie Goulding, Blur bassist Alex James, singer James Blunt, fitness guru Joe Wicks, presenter Claudia Winkleman and media mogul Simon Cowell.
If that’s not enough, Taylor is a short drive from local farmer Jeremy Clarkson and his Clarkson's Farm co-star Kaleb Cooper in Chadlington.
Or as an influential personality in American politics she might want to make friends with Foreign Secretary David Cameron in Dean.
Where to shop
Mr Cowell and his son Eric have popped into Chipping Norton milkshake shop Tickittyshake as well as Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe which was also a favourite of a young Romeo Beckham.
Independent shop Hyde and Home, selling unique gifts, often sees Amanda Holden and her family.
Former footballer Mr Beckham spent a staggering £400 on fruit and vegetables during one trip to Mrs Bumbles fine food emporium in Burford with daughter Harper.
He was also spotted shopping for Halloween props at Sweet Celebrations party shop in Banbury.
Meanwhile Daylesford Farm shop, run by Carole Bamford, boasts a stock of very expensive but quality organic foods - from five chocolate chip biscuits at £9.49 to a handful of purple asparagus for £8.99.
Where to eat?
One of only 33 Michelin Green Star restaurants in the country, The Trough at Daylesford Farm is a likely go-to for Taylor.
The posh eatery serves up a salad for £23 and a cheese tart for £18.50. A bottle of the best red wine sets customers back £55.
We know that Swift likes glasses of rosé with her friends and she's fond of a pub.
The Black Dog, in Vauxhall, has been mobbed by Swifties since she used the name as the title of a song on her latest album and now sells its own merch.
To get to know the neighbours, Taylor should head to the 16th century inn The Falkland Arms in the village.
Or she could try foodie pub The Bell in Charlbury owned by the Bamfords or the The Bull, a 16th-century foodie pub run by James Gummer and Phil Winser of The Pelican in Notting Hill.
Recently Soho Farmhouse has faced new competition from Estelle Manor, outside Witney, the rural outpost of Maison Estelle, a Mayfair private members’ club.
And Heythrop Park Hotel has also been refurbished by Warner and has been described as a cruise ship on land.
What to do?
"Taylor has booked the cottage while she is over in the UK," a source told The Sun. "She wants a place to unwind away from the tour and the countryside is her happy place. Taylor loves dressing up in sequins on stage but is most at home in muddy boots in the fresh air."
It's well known Taylor likes the English countryside as she famously visited Worcestershire with her British ex Joe Alwyn, 33, back in 2021.
But if she tires of the great outdoors she could try the new spa, The Club by Bamford at Daylesford which has padel courts.
In the video for her recent single ‘Fortnight’, Swift is seen playing pickleball, a US variation of padel.
It's also known Taylor likes antiques, so she can head to Stow-on-the-Wold, where she could pick up old furniture and trinkets.
