Greggs and McDonald’s have been shut down by police in Oxford city centre.
The two eateries located on Cornmarket Street have been closed by officers alongside several other businesses in the area.
This comes after an alleged incident which occurred around 5am on Tuesday morning on the same street causing a large police response.
A cordon was put in place by Thames Valley police officers and remains on the street with Carfax to Leon all unavailable to the public.

"One worker finishes at 9am and she's going to be escorted out."
Another member of the public added: “Something did happen at around 5am this morning.

"As I was walking on Cowley Road, five police cars sped past me in the direction of the city centre.
"When I arrived at Cornmarket Street at around 5:25am, it was already closed off.
"The only thing I saw, was a police officer cleaning the bench across McDonald's."
The Oxford Mail has approached Thames Valley Police and Greggs for comment on the incident and subsequent closure.
