Cherwell Cats Protection has named the cats in its care that are in need of a new home.

The charity’s branch in Cherwell was founded in 2006 and is run by a small team which works to find stray and neglected cats a new home.

Iris

Age: About one year old

The mother to five kittens is ready for a new home after raising her little ones.

Parsley, Domino and Marigold

Age: Two months

These are three of Iris' kittens and, while they are "on the timid side", they do "settle down and love to play".

Rocky

Age: 10 years old

Rocky has overcome a severe head and neck injury.

A Cherwell Cats Protection spokesperson said: "Rocky is now looking for an indoor home.

"He is a carrier of FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) so much be the only cat in the household.”

Princess

Age: 10 years old

A spokesperson said: "Princess is a more senior lady who is not really enjoying her life in a pen.

"She wants a comfy sofa to snuggle up on and a new companion to love her."

Siblings Dicky and Puffin

Age: Both two years old

A spokesperson said: "Dicky is a confident young chap who absolutely loves following you around. He’s chatty and very playful. He needs to be homed with his sister Puffin.

“Puffin is a sweet girl who loves to be snuggled up and stroked."
