A RETIRED HGV driver has died after being the passenger of a vehicle involved in a crash.
Edward Lamb, 85, died on May 28 at the John Radcliffe Hospital after being transported to the Headington site following a crash on May 22.
An inquest opening at Oxford Coroner’s Court on Thursday (June 13) heard that he was the passenger in a vehicle involved in a crash but it is unknown where the collision took place.

After a post-mortem examination, a medical cause of death has been provided as ‘rupture of abdominal aortic aneurysm’.
He was a widowed man who lived in Furlongs, Drayton.
Area coroner Nicholas Graham has set a date for a full inquest to take place at the same court on November 18 at 10am.
