A TRIAL date has been set for a young man accused of attempting to rob money in Banbury.
Hasan Zubair, of Alma Road, Banbury, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday (June 13) for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
The 23-year-old has been accused of attempting to rob Ben Reid of £100 in Calthorpe Road, Banbury on May 12 this year.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge.
His trial date has been entered into the warned listed for December 9 for two weeks – meaning it can take place at any time across that time period.
It is estimated to take two days.
Zubair has been granted bail until his trial is due to take place at the same court later this year.
