A care home celebrated the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings with a tea party.
Middletown Grange Care Home, in Witney, had entertainment from the Witney Day Centre to mark the occasion.
Along with watching services attended by the royals in France and Portsmouth, the home also shared stories and memories with their residents about the war.
Mirela, general manager at the home said: "Many of our residents can remember the D-Day landings and we all know what it meant for our country so we wanted to mark the date, follow the ceremonies and listen to our residents’ memories of the war and the experiences they lived through."
The residents joined thousands across the UK on June 6 who commemorated the 80th anniversary of the Normandy Landings on June 6, 1944.
