A COURT hearing has been set for a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Wantage.
Richard Illingworth, of Church Street, East Hendred, has been charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of assaulting a female by penetration.
It is alleged that the 42-year-old, on October 10, 2022, had sexually assaulted a woman in Wantage.

The woman cannot be named for legal reasons.
Illingworth is now due in Oxford Magistrates’ Court on June 18 at 2pm for his first hearing.
It is unknown whether the defendant will be asked to enter his plea or if the case will be adjourned and heard at a different court.
If guilty, Illingworth could face a prison sentence or an unlimited fine.
