A JAIL sentence has been handed to a man who was charged with three counts of burglary.

Amir Mahmood, of no fixed abode, was in Reading Magistrates’ Court on June 6 charged with three counts of burglary.

The 32-year-old was charged with three counts of burglary. On April 15, he was caught trespassing in Beechey Place, Wokingham.

On April 24, he was caught trespassing building in Fobney Street, Reading and Queens Road, Reading.

Mahmood, who is believed to have last resided in Oxford, was sentenced to 20 weeks imprisonment due to his ‘flagrant disregard for court orders’ and ‘for people and their property’.

He was also ordered to pay £88 in compensation.

There were no other order for costs.
