A Deliveroo bag, tyre and other items have been “dumped” on the side of an Oxfordshire road.

The incident occurred on Monday, June 10, as furniture and rubbish were fly-tipped on Eastmanton Lane in Sparsholt near Wantage.

A set of drawers could be seen alongside a tyre and dustpans as well as Deliveroo and Just Eat bags in the heap of waste left on the roadside.

The fly-tipping sparked outrage from the Vale of White Horse District Council who made a public appeal for more information on social media with photos of the mess attached.

A spokesperson for the council said: “Can you help us discover who dumped this furniture and rubbish on Eastmanton Lane in Sparsholt on Monday 10 June?

“If you know where these items may have come from or who may have been responsible, please email envirocrime@southandvale.gov.uk or call 01235 422146”
