A COURT hearing has been scheduled for a London man accused of having a false passport in connection with fraud.
Syed Islam, of Cowley Road, London, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (June 11) charged with one count of possession/control of article for use in fraud.
The 29-year-old was allegedly caught on September 26 last year in the Three Shop, a phone store, in the Westgate Centre in Oxford with a false passport.

It is alleged that the false passport ID was being used in the store in connection with a fraud.
Islam’s case has been adjourned and he is now next due in Oxford Crown Court on July 11 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
He could face a prison sentence or fine if guilty.
