A Banbury woman is taking on a daring bungee jump for an autism charity.
Karen Beecroft will be braving a bungee jump in London in support of Prior's Court, a Berkshire charity that aids young people with autism and complex needs.
Ms Beecroft is involved with Prior's Court through her employment at New College Swindon.
The charity provides work experience and placements for her students.
Ms Beecroft said: "As the T-Level Health programme lead and assistant curriculum manager for Health & Social Care and Sport, Prior’s Court has offered and supported our students to achieve work placements and develop their skill for working within the health and social care sector, develop their understanding of different conditions, how they affect individuals and more importantly what can be achieved to help support individuals and families.
"Doing a little bungee jump is my small way of thanking Prior’s Court for this amazing work."
Scheduled for July 6, the jump isn't her first adrenaline-filled challenge.
She said: "I’m always up for an adrenaline-fuelled challenge for amazing charities."
Her fundraising goal for the Fun and Recreation appeal at Prior's Court is £300.
This appeal funds 'above and beyond' experiences for the young people at the charity.
