An Oxfordshire man has been arrested after an emergency worker was allegedly assaulted.
The incident took place when a man from Abingdon was arrested by Thames Valley Police in the county on Friday, June 7.
The 65-year-old was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, assaulting an emergency worker and driving without insurance.

He has since been released under investigation.
Thames Valley Police revealed the news in a post on social media which confirmed the man’s arrest as well as the suspected offences.
A spokesperson for the force on Facebook said: “On 7th June, a 65 year old man from Abingdon was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, assaulting an emergency worker and driving without insurance.
“He has been released under investigation.”
This follows several other police incidents in Abingdon over the course of the last week which also included the seizure of a baseball bat and golf club from a gang.
