Oxford’s airport bus services are facing “significant delays” following an incident.

The incident occurred earlier on Tuesday afternoon and affected traffic, resulting in the bus services to the London airports being delayed.

Oxford Bus Company (OBC) released a statement to alert travelling passengers about the delays.

A spokesperson for OBC said: “We can confirm that our Airline services are now able to serve Terminal 5 but due to the previous incident they are now running with significant delays.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience during this time.”

The company has been hit with a series of cancellations and delays in previous months.

A spokesman for the company previously told the Oxford Mail that the number of cancellations was not unusual but that the service was still a top performer for customers.
