A local Oxfordshire singer has performed a special street gig to mark the anniversary of D-Day.
Charmaine Bushnell from Wantage sang to crowds on Saturday afternoon outside of The Bear Hotel on Market Place.
“Lots of local people have been emailing the town council and expressing their disappointment on social media that the town council have not arranged anything spectacular in our local town for the 80th D-Day,” she said.
“The council arranged a small lantern lighting in Grove which wasn't very well advertised.”

Charmaine’s singing marked 80 years since the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944, during the Second World War.
