The Cowley Neighbourhood Policing Team has made two arrests following reports of anti-social behaviour allegedly taking place at Templars Square in Cowley and the surrounding areas.
The team located two wanted people within minutes of starting their patrol today (Sunday, June 9).
They were "swiftly" arrested and are now in police custody.
Posting a statement this afternoon, Thames Valley Police Oxford said: "The Cowley Neighbourhood Policing Team have received reports of anti-social behaviour taking place at Templars Square, Oxford and the surrounding areas.

"We have been on dedicated patrols during our shifts to tackle this, and within minutes of starting todays patrol, we located two wanted persons, who were swiftly arrested and are now in police custody.
"We encourage people to report concerns in their area, and this can be done via 101 or report this via our website.
"We rely on information from the public to ensure we are patrolling the right area at the right time."
