Blenheim Palace's Halloween trail will make its return later this year, promising more "thrills and chills" than ever before.

The spooky journey through the Woodstock palace's grounds will begin at dusk.

Visitors can keep an eye out for a headless horseman or two, along with the King of the Pumpkins surrounded by a field of grinning pumpkins.

The trail will take visitors on a spooky adventure featuring "monstrous mirrors and larger-than-life jack-in-the-boxes".

There will be fire performers and Dr Frankenstein and Igor in their lab hidden deep within the Secret Garden.

Along the way, visitors will see witches, highwaymen, scarecrows, a spider tunnel and a neon illuminated tree.
