The jury heard that Stocks had taken the boy to Brighton under the pretence of 'looking at views' before 'throwing' him off the 100ft cliff on September 24, 2022.

Stocks lied to the jury, telling them the boy had fallen from the cliff and he had not witnessed the incident.

Police footage captured from that day shows Stocks lying to the police about what happened.

The boy was airlifted to hospital and Stocks was arrested on suspicion of child cruelty.

Stocks was asked: "Did you want him to go over the cliff?"

He could be seen shaking his head "no".
