A NEW trial date has been set for a man accused of assaulting a woman in Wantage.
Lewis Collins, 24, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday (June 6) charged with several counts against a woman.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to two counts of assault by beating and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He also pleaded not guilty to breaching a non-molestation order in which its alleged he ‘stuck his middle finger up’ at the complainant after an order was made.
However, Collins did plead guilty to damaging property after damaging a keychain belonging to the woman.
Collins, of St Marys, Wantage, has now has a trial date put in the warned list for July.
The trial was due to take in January was delayed due to Lewis’s health concerns.
