A school in Oxfordshire is set to close for the whole day next month due to a very unique reason.
St Blaise CofE Primary School in Milton will close for the entirety of Thursday, July 4, as the building has been commissioned as a polling station.
Oxfordshire County Council confirmed the news on Monday via its emergency school closures portal.

The general election was called by current Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Wednesday, May 22 with voting taking place throughout Thursday, July 4.
Results will flood in across the county and country overnight with MPs elected throughout the following Friday.
No other schools in Oxfordshire have currently confirmed whether their buildings will be used as a polling station like St Blaise CofE Primary School’s facilities.
