A spokesperson for the force said: “PCs Dollery and Jenkins are currently recovering this caravan as suspected stolen near Wheatley.
“By using the CRiS Database, the officers were able to conduct quick enquiries at the scene.”
This comes after police officers seized a car in the same area after its car tax had expired around five months ago.
Officers stopped a Ford Fiesta near Wheatley on Tuesday and found that the vehicle excise licence had expired.
The car was seized by the officers who also checked several trailers being towed into the Oxford services.
